• The Federal Government launched data and research satellite in 2003 and approved plans to launch communications satellite in 2006. NITDA, in the last few years, has established the platform for ICT development, significant G2G awareness and set up basis for eGovernment initiatives in Nigeria
• Nigerian Government has adopted Private-Public Partnership of a tripartite Joint Venture registered as National eGovernment Strategies Limited, NeGSt comprising Government, Consortium of Banks and Private Investors.
